SLEEPING Thursday, June 26, 2008   Pics- Budda , Elephant bathing, a sweet 20" on the streets of Chiang Mai Thailand. So its been a hectic few weeks, hence no posts- first off I hit the South Island for a week, then headed for Thailand for 2 weeks with the missus. Thailand is super sweet for a visit, heaps of culture, the people are rad, food is awesome, beaches are mint, and best of all its really cheap, oh and theres tonnes of cheap fake stuff to buy too. There are a few outlet stores of factories that sell some pretty sweet threads too, from mint flannel checked shirts for about 5 bucks or less to Zoo York tees, generally seconds but sometimes fakes for 5-10 bucks a pop, good times! All in all a sweet couple of weeks, didnt really see any bmx related stuff unfortunately apart from a few flatland type guys in a park one night while driving past. I did see some pics of a sweet indoor wooden bowl at a skate shop but other than that it seemed not to exist. Haha lester, for someone in the t-shirt market yourself, I wouldnt expect for you to be boasting about cheap fakes!
haha true, didnt buy any fakes though - well no tees that were anyhow - although if there was fake Quietchaos stuff around over there Id be stoked as, I guess it would mean there was a huge demand and Id finally 'made it' ?? haha hadnt thought bout that aye..... crack up.
