First up some from last night, Jordie under a bridge. This was a really hard spot to ride becasue we had all this traffic from people leaving the HAMILTON 400. Jordie would start peddaling in from down the road when he a saw a gap, but some people were slowing right down and staring at him, with a look of WTF and blocking his run in.
These photos were shot with my new alien bee flash set up and a cheap old nikon flash. Handy thing about the new flashes is the fact they can act as flood light, lighitng up the dark banks.
On another note here are some of the photographs I did for a series for tec, all about the in between spaces or spaces of absence. The photographs were taken from from Otahuhu power staion all the way down to the Rangipo underground power station past toupo. There all shot on a Mamiya medium format camera with a shift lens. No flashes for once, all natural.
