BARRY CURTIS SKATEPARK  Thursday, January 7, 2010

Here are the proposed plan for a new Skatepark going in Barry Curtis Park in Botany Downs, Auckland. This isn't the final plan, just a draft, but gives an idea of what the Skate park will look like and the size of it. I think it looks really good and creative with a nice mixture of transition and skate plaza type areas. To put it into perspective the deep end of the bowl is 9ft which is rad. The council officially have $600,000 towards the park and construction is set to start in March... so its all looking good!
