Tuesday, October 30, 2007
Don't forget that the Zombie Hop Comp and the Triple Six / Quiet Chaos Exhibition will be taken place this weekend. The Zombie Hop Comp kicks of around 12 pm sharp with a free BBQ and the the Hop Comp starts straight away at 12:30pm. On the day there will also been some BMX clothing and other miscellaneous items for sale from Triple Six. Later that evening the Triple Six / Quiet Chaos Exhibition will kick of around 7pm at Disrupt Gallery on K'road. There will be lots of hot new products to look at, random crazy bikes and not to mention a few beers here and there. All the information that you need is on the flyers below, but just in case you need to know more you can contact me at zombie.bmx@gmail.com Also just so you know between when the hop comp finish's and the exhibition starts I think most people will be shredding Victoria Skate Park, and on the Sunday after I think allot of people will be heading out to the PMP trails. Anyway its going to be a fun weekend so see you then! |

Monday, October 29, 2007
I have finally started working on the gallery. So far there is only a few photos that I took this weekend at PMP trails but ill start to add more photos to the gallery through the week. Speaking of the PMP trails keep December 15th free in you calendar because it looks like there is going to be a dirt comp at the Swanson BMX track which is right next to the trails. The guys from PMP trails will be building a six pack for it but ill keep you up to date with more on the event as it comes to hand. Also check out these two photos below, the first one is PMP almost two years ago and the other is PMP to date. Its amazing how much dirt has been moved out there! |

BIKE CHECK
A friend of mine Kirk who is living in Europe sent me in a photo of his new bike. The frame is a Zion? never heard of it? that's because its a relatively new company based in Zagreb, Croatia. This particular frame is the Jurica Barac signature frame and its a super nice tidy frame. It weighs 2.27 kg, has internal headset, spanish BB, full 4130 CrMo, seamless double butted tubing, heat-treated DT, HT, BB and dropouts, so yea all the bells and whistles. Zion also make a bunch of other products and frames so check out there web page at www.zion.hr . Kirk also mentioned that the owner and team will be visiting NZ next yea so hopefully there products will be available here sometime soon. Thanks for the photos and info Kirk!

NO X TO THE AIR
Friday, October 12, 2007
That's right your eyes arnt playing tricks on you, its offical there will be no X-Air for 2008. Reasoning being Vodafone pulled out their sponsorship, and they can't find enough sponsor's to cover what they contributed. Its a big loss and im sure it will be missed by plenty of bmxers around the world.
